Spray Foam Insulation

Spray foam insulation is the most efficient insulation material commercially available. It seals your home from air and moisture intrusion, save on costly utility bills, strengthens the structure of your home, and protect your family’s health from dangerous mold, airborne pollutants, and allergens.

Benefits of Spray Foam:
  Stops air and moisture infiltration
Adheres to any surface
Eliminates internal wall condensation problems
Does not support mold growth
Reduce airborne allergens
Saves on energy costs
Adds strength to the building structure
It is permanent and will not sag
Makes your home more comfortable
Keeps dust and pollen out
Reduce the size of heating/air systems
Reduce noise
It is not a food source for rodents

Spray Foam Saves You Money and Pays for Itself

Spray Foam is used to seal the entire “building envelope” of your home to prevent air and moisture infiltration. Natural Resources Canada studies show that 40% of your home’s energy is lost due to air infiltration.

Traditional fiberglass insulation is placed into the wall cavities and does not seal the stud and wall cavities from end to end, or top to bottom. Air infiltration can pass through these gaps, making it far less efficient. Spray Foam not only adheres to, but forms to the walls and floors to create a tight seal and insulating barrier that stops this air leakage.

Since Spray Foam acts as an air barrier, it also helps to reduce moisture infiltration, which is a source of dangerous mold and mildew growth in the home, and can cause severe health problems to its occupants.

Spray foam insulation can still provide benefits far greater than traditional materials such as fiberglass and cellulose. By using spray polyurethane foam insulation you can increase your home's energy performance, structural integrity and air quality.

What to Look For When Choosing
a Foam Applicator:

Experience means everything! Regardless of the type of foam you choose, a poor applicator will result in an unsatisfactory job, with voids, gaps, messy overspray, and even a decrease in performance. The installation of spray foam is a highly technical process, literally being manufactured on site. When you choose Magnus Insulation you will receive experienced and skilled sprayers, along with a knowledgeable sales force that will design a system that is right for you. With Magnus Insulation, your job will be completed efficiently, cleanly, and all at a competitive price. Take a look at our photo Gallery to see for yourself how spray foam insulation should look.
